Meet Glenda
Glenda Krull understands the importance of building strong foundations, whether in neighborhoods, businesses, or community trust. Born and raised in Michigan by a builder and a business owner, she grew up surrounded by individuals who valued hard work, service, and stepping up when it mattered. These values accompanied her throughout a life that took her across the U.S., to Germany, and finally to Washington State, where she has proudly called Edmonds home for over 20 years.
Glenda has the natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life — a skill that would serve her well when she launched her real estate career in Washington in 1995. Starting from scratch, she quickly earned “Rookie of the Year” honors. She built a successful business driven almost entirely by referrals, reflecting her strong listening skills and commitment to delivering results for clients. After over 28 years in real estate, Glenda has earned a reputation for prioritizing quality over quantity, building lifelong relationships, and always showing up for her clients.
Outside of work, Glenda’s heart has always been with her community. She serves as Chair of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Edmonds Center for the Arts Board of Directors. She’s a volunteer fixture at local events and has long been an active voice at City Council meetings. Glenda spoke up when city leadership made questionable real estate decisions that cost taxpayers more than $100,000. When City Councilmembers misled residents about plans to sell parks and a beloved community center, Glenda decided it was time to do more than write letters — it was time to lead.
Glenda believes one of the biggest challenges facing the Edmonds City Council is restoring trust between the council and the residents it serves. Decisions have been rubber-stamped for too long without real scrutiny or open discussion. Glenda is committed to studying the materials thoroughly before council meetings, asking tough questions, and encouraging meaningful public engagement, not just offering lip service. She believes collaboration among council members, staff, and residents is key to moving Edmonds forward responsibly and sustainably.
Glenda is running for Edmonds City Council because she believes residents deserve honesty, transparency, and genuine engagement from their leaders. She will bring the same dedication she has demonstrated throughout her career — reading the fine print, asking the hard questions, and collaborating respectfully — to rebuild trust and move Edmonds forward responsibly. She is committed to leadership, not politics, while working tirelessly to preserve what makes Edmonds special and build a future we can all be proud of.
